you can't carry it with you
Who: Deathwing, Surion, and the Blacksworn
What: Successful retreat into the Obsidian Sanctum
Where: Obsidian Sanctum
When: After a long, grueling battle near the borders of Suramar
Warnings: Please PM the mods if any warnings are needed
[The Obsidian Sanctum is quiet, even in the midst of activity. The wounded have been taken to the right of the giant pool of lava in the center of the cavern, where Surion grimly stands observing. There aren't many dragons who seem to have made it inside, but it doesn't seem to have put a dent in the amount of black dragons moving around the sanctum either.
The ceiling is impossibly high, even with all the mountain range stretching through it. Rivers of lava create most of the light source, but Blacksworn will have no problem finding their way around once they are brought through the portal. The eggs have been moved to smaller and warmer clusters around the sanctum, and are guarded by at least two dragons at all times.
Meanwhile, Deathwing has himself perched on one of the larger ledges close to the ground so that he may watch the goings on from an elevated position, making his metal encased form very easy to see as soon as one enters.]

[Deathwing's voice is a demand, and its followed by an expectant thwack of his tail against a mountain. As if his voice wasn't enough of a hint that he needs to approach him.]

What is it you require?

How are the broods of my siblings fairing?

It matters not. Alextrasza's consorts are dead. In time, she will have no children left to bolster her numbers.
no subject
... Yes. Even if she were to pick another consort, it would take ages for the whelps to be battle-ready.
[He lingers still, waiting to be given orders or dismissed.]

I will expect spoils in the future if we are to be housing the lesser races, Surion. Let me not pay witness to such an oversight again.
[He snorts a cloud of ash.]
Go.
no subject
Understood... my lord.
[He disappears quickly, seeming to melt into the shadows of a nearby rock.]
no subject
Your boss "suggested" I come find you.
[He probably could have put it off. Or maybe never do it, but you know, he's apparently "motivated" right now.]
no subject
[He regards the Master with a smile that is not altogether nice.]
How can I help you, dragonsworn?

Whatever you need to fight this war, I will do my best to provide it-- given time, and some resources. If you are lacking in knowledge of current events or otherwise, I can bring you up to speed.

[He shrugs lightly.]
If you do not care for your current universe, you are welcome to stay in this one. It makes no difference to me. If we lose this war, we are all going to perish very painfully.
no subject
Not.
Well, his current universe apparently means he'd be slotted for getting frozen on Gallifrey, out of reach from Rassilon killing him. So maybe this universe has potential, if he can get over Surion's surly dad.
Bit unlikely.]
Alright, fine. I am very lacking on current events, so yeah, a history lesson would be swell.
no subject
And then... well, he took it back.
[Surion doesn't seem to care too much.]

If you were lucky.

What do you have for food around here? [He's got to sustain the leak of his lifeforce, after all. So what if he ends up eating through the flight's supplies. That won't be a problem for anyone, right? Psssh.]
no subject
[Oh, right.] Food. Yes, of course. Over there-- [he points to a gathering of flat rocks.] -- we have left you some of the local fauna. Mostly bear. If you are particularly finicky, you're on your own.
no subject
He shifts his gaze over to the food. Yeah that's not going to last long. He really does need to find a third option, like he mentioned to the Doctor. He stares back at his hand.]
no subject
Perhaps you should experiment a little... a safe distance away from everyone else, that is.
