Who: Valamia and any Red Dragonsworn
What: A new Draenei appears
Where: The Ruby Sanctum
When: April 12th
Warnings: None although they will be added should they come up
There's a new arrival at the Sanctum today. The new arrival is one very confused looking Draenei. For a moment Valamia stands there, completely lost. Where in the name of all decent things in the universe was she? She shakes her head to clear her head. Trying to figure out where she is would be a good start. It meant there was only one thing to do. Wander around the Sanctum and check it out. Okay so this place looks nothing like any of the places she frequently goes to. That's...not good. Where in the name of all things decent in the universe is she? Her being here must be some sort of mistake. The problem was that she wasn't finding way to remedy the mistake. Of all of the times to get lost it had to be on her way home. Her brows will start to furrow as she keeps trying to find something recognizable. She can't believe she's lost in such a strange place. All the planets in the galaxy to get lost on and she has to do it on what she's pretty sure is still Azeroth.

She steps to the side, eyes wide as she realizes that she's no longer the only one among her people on this Azeroth. But it takes her another second to realize who this woman is. As it dawns on her, her jaw drops. "Vala?"
No apology. No greetings. Vas is just left in stunned silence, blinking at her as she tries to process her sudden arrival.

"I'm going to take this as a issue that goes beyond magic portal issues." Although she's holding onto the hope that maybe it is something that simple. It would be nice if life could have a mistake that was so simple.

"There's... there's a lot to explain, Vala," she says, ushering her away from the portal's exit. "And if I try to get to the point here and now, none of it will make any sense."
no subject
"You might as well try. I can't imagine trying to be going around the subject of whatever is wrong is going to accomplish much." After all the sooner she knows what's wrong the sooner she can try and get home.

"I'll get there in a moment, but I need to know something first," she says. "Did Aunt Iluutia ever research any of the weird kinds of magic? Things like, I dunno, bending time or forcibly teleporting people?"
no subject
Wait a second. "Only one had something to do with the present situation, right?"
no subject
She tries to smile, but it ends up as a lopsided, dismayed sort of expression. "This is the Ruby Sanctum, where the Red dragons live. And their magic is more powerful than my brother could ever have imagined. Powerful enough to take us back in time, among other things."
no subject
"Uh-huh, because they have great reasons to do something like that." She doesn't repress or hide the sarcasm. She isn't sure she can truly believe anything like that.
no subject
It still sounds ridiculous, even as she says it. "Apparently they're powerful enough to summon up people from worlds besides Azeroth, too."
no subject
"Again, the great reasoning behind anything like this would be...?" Hopefully something beyond another 'Azeroth is facing a disaster'.

"They brought us here to fight off the Legion," she says as she folds her arms across her chest. "You know, to the time when the Legion first came to Azeroth."
no subject
"Didn't they handle the Legion without doing this?"

She strokes a tendril as she looks away from Vala. "She's a smart girl. She knows to go find Iluutia."
no subject
"What am I supposed to do if she believes I've abandoned her?"
no subject
"I don't know," she says, slowly. "But I believe that she'd find Iluutia as quickly as she could."
no subject
"Vas, she's my little girl. I can't-" be stuck fighting in a war with the Legion, is what she wants to say. It's much more then that. She can't handle the idea of her daughter thinking she's abandoned her either.

Instead she goes to Vala and wraps her arms around her in a hug. Really, what else can she do?
no subject
Even with her mind rushing to figure out how to handle everything, she slowly wraps her arms around the other. A hug isn't going to give her her daughter back but it's better then nothing.
