Apollo notices the uncomfortable shifting, but she interprets it as Rose being uncomfortable with sex talk in general, and not necessarily because of her feelings on the topic of whores. It's true that whores in her world aren't always in the best of places, but Apollo and her husband do actually try to be a little more respectful about it. Used, yes. Abused, not so much.
