[A - Somewhere en route to the Blue Sanctum]

*If you happen to be out and about today, whether hunting, scouting, or just getting a breath of fresh air, you might happen to chance across a certain dragonsworn mercenary on his way back to the sanctum. He looks rather like he's been sleeping outside the past several days at least, and is hauling what appears to be the better part of a stag carcass slung across his shoulder. Do you approach?*


[B - Inside the Blue Sanctum]

*After having been absent for... several weeks, at least, Geddoe finally makes his way back into the sanctum. He's carrying a good chunk of stag carcass that he wastes no time handing over to those in charge of the food stores, and generally definitely looks the part of someone who's been roughing it outdoors for some time. That, and he's very obviously in need of a bath.

Still, though, at least he's back?*


((OOC: Since I derped out for most the month due to various things that came up I figured the simplest explanation for a lack of reaction on Geddoe's part to some of the recent events was that he simply wasn't around for them in the first place. :|b Feel free to poke me if there's anything you'd still like me to pick up or backtag though, even if it's old stuff!))

[Jacques usually wanders whenever he can, even if sometimes the Green Sanctum is enough space to do so. But one needs to go out for supplies, not only for the dragonsworn, but the dragons as well. It's a task the hunter doesn't mind too much, and he's careful about it.

While he might not be the first thing Geddoe hears because it's Jacques, there's the sound of an eagle's cry somewhere overhead. The large bird itself soon flies lower, light brown in color. It lands on the limb of a nearby tree, watching the man with the eyepatch.]

*the eagle's cry is indeed the first Geddoe hears, and after a moment he spots where it's landed. He's seen that particular bird before, and the fact that it's clearly watching him is also just a bit of a hint*

*Geddoe knows better than to try to spot the marksman when he hasn't revealed himself, at least*

[It's not long after that Jacques makes his appearance, not in the tree that the bird has landed, but in one across from it, not too much further from where Geddoe is. He swings down and lands neatly, shouldering his oversized bow gun, having opted to continue using it over any other weapons made available to them, even though the armory for the Greensworn had only recently been opened for them.

Of course, Jacques offers no verbal greeting, though he does nod in Geddoe's direction, and even though it's not obvious by his expression, the hunter's glad to see him.]

[ Remaining inside the sanctum of the Blue Dragonflight was a reasonable thing to do since she was accused of cruel actions. If she doesn't leave, then logically it meant she was incapable of bringing harm to the world outside.

However this made for a boring experience. For someone who was so eager to replicate the Hero of Time, it meant she was left pacing in her leather straps and tunic as if waiting for the next mission. For someone to tell her what to do.

So when she's instructed to catch up a missing dragonsworn who has returned, Zelda wastes no time in crossing over towards him. What has happened to him to cause him to look so ragged..? Has he been out for some time--and that stench! My, she's never had to run into people like this before in her entire life.

The scowl may be a bit unfriendly, but she's not trying to let it show... ]

*returns the nod; it's nice to see a familiar face as well, even if in Geddoe's case the lack of contact was his own doing*

[Again Jacques nods. He walks over towards Geddoe, glancing briefly at the bird, trusting the eagle to keep an eye out.]

*might under normal circumstances offer to share what he's already caught... but he's well aware that his own flight tends to be lacking in hunters to bring in game as it is*

Has anything happened?

*asked as a routine question; it's only been a few weeks, maybe a month or so, after all*

[The hunter likewise wouldn't ask since it wouldn't be fair either. But if he were asked to help, he probably wouldn't say no.]

...Night Elves kidnapped a few Dragonsworn from almost all the flights earlier in the month. Some of us infiltrated Sin'thalas to rescue them.

A couple of weeks ago some of us weren't allowed in Silverglen Retreat.

[Naturally, if you want further details, you're going to have to drag them out of him, Geddoe.]

*frowns a bit at that, especially the use of "us" in the second bit, but one thing at a time*

Why were they kidnapped?

Not sure, aside from that they don't trust the Dragonsworn.

The ones who were taken didn't have anything to say about what they were asked or how they were treated?

*because a lot can be gleaned from that...*

...not that I've heard.

[And no one from his flight had been taken to be asked.]

The dragon mages did set up ways for dragonsworn to communicate over distances...

[He...probably could have mentioned that earlier since it seems almost out of place, but it's something of an afterthought for him.]

Scrying orbs. They can connect to other orbs if you think of the location. ...I haven't tried it, only watched Rose use it.

[He's glad he's not asked further details on that since he really doesn't know much more. And since he's not asked anything more from Geddoe thereafter, Jacques simply waits in his customary silence.]

*there's quite a few questions Geddoe can think of about these orbs, but he's quite capable of reading between the lines; if Jacques says he's only seen someone else use it, he probably doesn't know anything, especially given that it's not something that would fall into his normal area of expertise. So instead, it's better to move on to another topic*

Tell me what happened with Silverglen.

[The hunter nods, probably having figured Geddoe would ask specifics eventually.]

The elves in Silverglen believed some of us were causing trouble for them. Specifically, two from the Red, one from the Blue, and me. ...they wouldn't let other Dragonsworn from our flights enter the village without someone of Black or Bronze.

Why you?

...they thought I used Green magic on some of their villagers as practice.
