And to his great satisfaction, the Ruby Sanctum does not disappoint. Oh sure, there's some savage beauty to be found in the Obsidian Sanctum with all its mountains and lava pits and hostile dragon guards. But one eventually tires of looking at rocks and tiptoeing around deathtraps, and him? He's always had a fondness for flowers like the ones that seem to dot every inch of the Redsworns' home.
It's a small sapling covered in the things that holds his attention now. Curious, he plucks one of the blooms off its branches-- and jerks his hand back in mild surprise when it immediately blackens and turns to ash in his palm as if burned up.
