Dragging a deer carcass up to the cooking fire, Nepeta pauses a moment to watch Mar cook with an expression of sheer awe and admiration. She's never seen anything like this, and while she could and often did merrily eat raw meat, she can't help but think the food must be even better this way.

Eventually, though, she remembers why she's here and speaks up.

"Do you think we have enough meat yet? I can go get a few more deer or a bear or two if you want."
