[At the edge of the lake was where Lyn stood. She bent over and idly disturbed the surface of the water with her finger. Everything around her was just a little cramped. All Lyn wanted was a look at Father Sky to accompany Mother Earth so she came here, where both could be in sight.
She knew she couldn't sit here and be idle too long. People needed her help, even if they had taken her from her own world. Well, she wasn't involved in anything pressing there and if someone needed her now, she wouldn't complain. She'd just make some negative remarks regarding how sudden this was. At the very least, she figured that they could have asked ahead of time.]
Please watch my path and guide me straight and true, like the arrow released from the bow.
[Her hand came up from the water, finger dripping the remnants. Her pet flew down and landed at her side. It took care not to flap up too much dirt, thankfully. Lyn was pleased and surprised by the fact that she received a Dragonhawk as a friend and ally, even if it was the first time she had heard of one.]
Looks like you and I have some learning to do together. They say great power comes with powerful bonds so hopefully we'll be the best. We have a lot of work ahead of us.
