[Sora stood at the mouth of a cave in Emerald Sanctum, trying to retrace his steps mentally. He scratches at his head, thinking outloud]

I left Yen Sid's tower, and then...everything got went all bizarre and there were these guys in cloaks-

[But not the Organization cloaks either. He sighs and shakes his head. Maybe he should have paid more attention to what those cloak guys were saying. He's not sure what he was doing here. Then again, he was partly just glad it didn't look like the World that Never Was again.]

Maybe I should just ask someone...

[And he decides to do just that, looking around the Sanctum he looks for someone to bother. The sleeping ones he decides to leave alone, but when he spots someone awake, he'll walk straight up to them in a very friendly manner and smile]

Hiya! Sorry to bother ya, but can you tell me where I am?

[Pleased at that, Jacques resumes his work.]

....demons. They might threaten other worlds too, if we can't stop them here.

Thank you, Sora! [He seems genuine.] If you need weapons or armor, we have that. Food is over there, and um, I don't really suggest eating any of the fruit here. It is very important for various salves and things. You can grow your own, though. I could teach you.

[He glances at the whelp who is happily chewing on his hair.]

Oh, do not worry about her. She likes doing that to everyone. Especially me, because I am her father.

Grow my own...? [he scratches his head] I'm not sure I'm gonna be here long enough to grow a fruit tree.

[And wait what. what.]

- Her father?! [HIS LIFE MAY BE DISNEY BUT EVEN HE KNOWS THATS NOT HOW GENETICS WORKS]

[Wow this is making less sense by the minute and it's getting more and more unnerving too. Sora is more than happy to help, but to live here? Nuh uh. No chance of that.]

That's nice to offer, but I already have a home. I have stuff I gotta do, but I was hoping to go back to it when it's all over.

Demons that threaten other worlds...

[Wow that sounds familiar]

Are they Heartless? Or something else?

[ninjacques]

[His hand ceases to move again as he glances out of the corner of his eye at the kid, a brow arching.]

Heartless..? ...they don't seem to care about attacking anyone, anyway...

[heartstorage]

Huh? - Oh! Haha, no I don't mean they're heartless like they're jerks. Well I mean they are, but that's just what they're called!

Heartless are things that invade worlds and eat people's hearts. [Because that imagery is so much better I'm sure] So I was wondering if it's them!

[ninjacques]

...oh.

[What a strange name, not to mention disturbing, to say the least. There's only one way he can picture something eating anything's heart. The hunter's brow furrows. Heartless- what terrible things.]

They're called the Burning Legion...

[heartstorage]

The Burning Legion?

[Huh]

I don't think I've heard of them before.

[ninjacques]

Neither have I.

[But he'd seen them, all the initial dragon-summoned had been caught up in a battle between them and the flights upon arrival. That hadn't even been a full assault then, had it?

Jacques falls silent again as he works, but then he's never been a very good conversationalist.]

[And Sora doesn't mind. Riku was never the most talkative, and some of his other friends on his travels could be down right taciturn. So it doesn't really strike him as uncomfortable]

So that's two of us.

But, I guess it doesn't really matter. If they really are threatening worlds, then I don't mind helping them out.

[Sure, he had other things he needed to do. Stopping Xehanort, preventing the keyblade war, saving the people the King wrote about- but Sora was never the sort to turn a blind eye to people in need. If this world really needed help, he's sure the others would understand him taking some time to do just that]

Alright! The more we work together, the safer this will be. Though we're going to need some kind of slogan for our green team.

[heartstorage]

A slogan?

[But he just joined! He's not even sure what this green team DOES]

[The hunter nods. That much, he can agree with. ...not like they have much of a choice, really, after being pulled here, but Morpheus had said that other worlds could be at risk too.]

Well, yes. We don't want people to get the wrong idea, do we?

[Rose probably wouldn't think it's a good idea but there were a lot of other flights out there. May as well give themselves a proper reputation.]

[He sees that nod! It makes him grin]

I'm Sora! What's your name?

Well no, but....don't we need to find out what we're doing here before we make a slogan about it?

For one thing, we do fight against demons. [Or something similar enough.] As far as I know, making sure they don't hurt anyone is a good enough cause for me.

[ninjacques]

[Blink. Oh, right.]

Demons? What sort of demons?

[Not that he's against fighting to save things! Just you know, might need some info first!]

Do they make different kinds of demons? What I hear from Rose, though, there's the kind that fight in melee combat and the kind that use magic to fight.

That's...not very specific.

[In fact that covers most types of fighting besides ranged weapons! ]

Heh, but I guess it doesn't that much. What kind of slogan did you got in mind?

[He nods again, and even though there's no obvious smile on his face, there's just something that hints that he's happy to have been able to help.]

[Sora's reaction to the second bit makes him blink.]

Yes, and?

Anyway. Just as we hope you will lend us your strength, we have given you a little of ours, by the oath.

[He holds out his hand to demonstrate. A little sprout pops out of the ground and twists up through the underbrush, then bursts into a beautiful gathering of tiny blue flowers like forget-me-nots.]

You can do that, too, as a green dragonsworn. It is very handy if you are hungry, I think.
