Mar had gladly worked with the Klaxxi and fought side by side with the Paragons -- and the Paragons, in turn, had made it quite clear to him where their loyalties lay, out of what seemed to be genuine respect and maybe even friendship. Even if, as now seemed certain, he and they would be deadly enemies in the future, he would welcome one of them gladly if they appeared to join.
