Who: Apollo ([personal profile] irritating) and Qilby ([personal profile] traitre)
What: Qilby needs help that a gryphon-lady can provide. Time to make up, or something.
Where: Obsidian Sanctum.
When: August 13.
Warnings: Apollo.

Qilby had done his best to avoid the Obsidian Sanctum, preferring to fume over his last trip there in the relative comfort of the inn at Silverglen instead.

His current "allies" are imbeciles, all of them. This much he knows. Dealing with the entirety of his stubbornly sedentary people back on his world was frustrating in its own way, but at least they had rarely ever actively challenged him -- it's not as if he'd ever wandered into an Eliatrope temple and had his nose nearly headbutted in. Which is a lot more than he can say for the Black Flight.

It's why he's turned to other potential allies. The elves are a convenience, but little beyond that, and Qilby can't care to make anything more of them right now. Besides, the other flights have begun to encroach on his efforts (as is their tendency to do) and he cares even less to share. They can go ahead and take the elves if they want a piece of them so much! He's found new friends.

The trolls, however -- they demand a high price for their time. Dragon's blood is not an easy sacrifice to acquire (even in a world filled with the things) and its collection comes with a whole... Other set of complications. Before he can divest himself of his current allies in favor of his new ones, he'll have to acquire their help one more time.

And he knows just the perfect, disposable Blacksworn for the job.

Which brings him back to the Sanctum. It's not difficult to find another Dragonsworn within the cavernous space, and it's only a matter of moments before he spots a mess of bright red hair among the dark rock. Qilby elects to walk over (figuring that taking a portal might startle her into attacking him again.)

"Apollo?" he asks, once he reaches her. He's solemn, serious -- he's not the only one who remembers their last meeting. "May we talk?"
