As much as Rose knew it was a dream and that it was something she wasn't supposed to see, the moment the... thing reached for the girl, Rose broke her position and started to sprint toward them. She had a tendency to act before she thought and whatever that was, it was trying to hurt the girl. She had to get there and--

"Holy shit."

Rose stumbled as the utter freakiness of what just happened made her falter in mid-charge. She caught herself and continued on, body still moving despite her mind whirling with no idea what the hell had just happened. She was reminded of some of the things she'd glimpsed in Lissa's mind when she was drowning in spirit's madness before she could pull the darkness away from her best friend, but it was nothing like that.

Finally reaching the girl, a hissing sound and steam accompanying each step as she subconsciously altered the ground under her feet to be ice instead of lava, she grabbed for her shoulders.

"Are you okay? What the hell are you dreaming about?"
