[Yup, that was a dragon. A real, scale-covered fire-breathing dragon. Dragons were on the crest of Lissa's family - being the Dragomirs, of course - but to actually see on with her own eyes and know they were real and not just in children's stories or the weird fantasies of geeks everywhere?]

[She couldn't help the little note of wonder in her voice when she looked down at the dragon. And then the extent of its injury and the other woman's words snapped her out of it.]
