but there never seems to be enough time
Who: Nozdormu, Lanadormi, and the Bronzesworn
What: Successful retreat into the Bronze Sanctum
Where: Bronze Sanctum
When: After a long, grueling battle near the borders of Suramar
Warnings: Please PM the mods if any warnings are needed
[While normally the Bronze Sanctum is lit up for those who reside within it, today there's a gentle breeze that blows softly throughout it. Unusually refreshing for those who may need it while the sands themselves seem to blow away from the injured.
The wounded (dragons and anyone else who may need it) are near ruins where foliage flickers in and out as if it's there, then not there the next second. An illusion or something else? The hourglass nearby seems to tick by slower and slower. Should anyone approach, they just might feel as if every part of their body has slowed down immensely, yet the few designated healers don't seem to be affected in the slightest.
Lanadormi herself seems to be doing everything at once. One second she may be giving instructions and the next she's at the other side of the sanctum tending to another matter. Whatever it is she's doing, it appears the normal law of time doesn't apply to her.
Near the lake is a man who seems disinterested in the current events, focused intently on his reflection in the water instead.]
[ooc: Mingle log for bronzesworn!]

I'm hardly one of the younger races, dragon. But very well. Some shelter, even if it's underground, is better than this. If there's work that needs doing for a proper place, provide materials and I'll make do.
[And she closes her eyes.]
And I don't suppose you can tell me anything about managing this power, can you? It's unfamiliar to me, but you clearly know more than I do.

[She pauses again, looking at Saori-- or rather, through her.]
... Yes, it seems you have been chosen by something called the Light. It is an essential part of the universe-- life, benevolent and powerful. Believe in it, believe in yourself, and it shall respond.

What she's told next, though, gets a blink.]
The Light. Then, why did shadows come when I got angry on the battlefield? Does the word mean something different in this land?
[She doesn't sounds terribly worried about it, just curious.]

And I'm able to use both? Do you know anything about this power, yourself? I...used some of it on reflex, but I don't know how I did what I did.

[A gentle smile.]
I am willing to learn along with you. The basic principles of all magic are similar.
no subject
Perhaps where you're from. But if that's the same here, I'd appreciate it.
What do I call you?
no subject
My name is Lanadormi. And you?
no subject
[She inclines her head in a slight nod.]
You said something earlier about Bronze dragons. What does that mean?

Time? Does this Legion of yours have the capability to alter the past, then?

But her home? Her eyes come back into focus at that.]
They'll find my home difficult to deal with, then. My family will break them.
[In other words, no cause for worry.]
How did you bring us here, and why only the four of us?
no subject
[She sighs, but goes on.]
I cannot tell you the specifics, you understand. I would have asked for more if possible.
no subject
Forgive me, but I'm afraid I'll have to disagree. My family created our world, including it's dragons. But that's of little consolation for you here, I know. I am sorry for your loss.
[Surprisingly, she means it.]
Will you try again? Or is your ritual usable only once?
no subject
[If it was meant to pass, anyway.]
We will try again, when our energy is recovered.

Do you have the ability to select who you pull through?
no subject
no subject
[People who'd be better off at home, safe in bed.]
Is there anything I, or we, can do to help you with that?
no subject
[She smiles, and the corners of her eyes crinkle.]
I will see about making our sanctum more hospitable for you. Is there anything else?
no subject
[She'll shrug her shoulders and smile gratefully.]
Where can I find something to eat? It feels like weeks since I had anything.
no subject
Our hunters have procured some of the local wildlife.
[It's raw. Sorry.]
no subject
Thank you for that. [She nods curtly.] And for the answers.
