[Open] I was totin' my pack
Who: Saori Kimura and Open to Anyone
What: Curious about the outside world (and sick of the desert), Saori grabs some things and decides to head out.
Where: Silverglen Retreat, maybe elsewhere?
When: Early April
Warnings: Possible swearing? Maybe violence? Possible dead bears, as well.
A) Amber Sanctum: For Bronze Dragonsworn
[Saori, tired of sitting in caves or working out under the lone raincloud, gathers up a few things from the open armory and heads towards one of the portals out of the Sanctum. With a bow for a walking stick, a sturdy hooded outfit of light leather, and sword at her waist, she might resemble a wandering monk instead of a proper priest. However, she'd grabbed a change in case it was necessary, hoping that the dragons wouldn't mind her taking an extra. Any Bronzesworn who approach are greeted with a smile, and she'll be happy to have company as she goes out to explore so feel free to catch her. Warnings of danger she's ignoring for the moment, as there's the lure of wetter climates, chances to gain more mastery over her new powers, old friends she must find, and a whole new world to see...]
B) Silverglen Retreat settlement and the surrounding forest: Open to All
[Once she's found her way into the settlement, Saori makes her way around the entire village, mentally mapping it out. Market stalls, shops, a smithy, and the local inns are all memorized and checked out. She'll poke her head into a few of them, especially if she sees anyone that looks Dragonsworn, but otherwise keeps on her little circuit. After a while, she'll probably attempt to barter for supplies with some of the baubles that were on her when she arrived before going out into the forest. She'll be happy to stop and talk to anyone who seems even slightly friendly. Or who just looks out of place, too.
Out in the forest, the adventurous goddess puts the skills she'd learned as a child to good use, tracking game and bringing it down with her bow or some of the other tools at her disposal. She also begins to practice some of the magic she's been granted in earnest, hunting with lightning, light or shadow for food and barter materials. If she spots a familiar plant, she might even grab that up too. You can find her standing over the smoldering corpse of a dead bear, trying to kill a giant spider, roasting meat by a small cookfire, or maybe even setting up a camp in a secluded area as the shadows grow long. Approach as desired, she may even share her nomnoms with you, if you ask nicely! After all, we're all in this together!]

"And no, you wouldn't. Who honestly wants to live in a desert?"
no subject
He stops in front of a shop, looking up. "What's this? Potions? What kind of shop is that?"
no subject
Scanning the shop's windows, she shrugs. "Probably alchemical potions. Harry used to brew them in Luceti. Supposedly they can help you fight better, or heal you."
no subject
"They probably taste awful too. Who'd want to drink that anyway." He's still eyeing the shop though. He knows the value of having something that can heal you on your person, as long as the enemy doesn't figure out what you've got.
no subject
She gestures towards the door, meaning to go inside.
"Care to see what they have? I still have some useless baubles I can trade."
no subject
"Alright. I'd like to see if any of these potions do just that. But we're testing them out on you." No way is he going to just drink something and hope for the best.
no subject
"Fine. But how are we to test magic resistance? Are you going to put a spell on me?"
Inside, she starts looking at some of the labels on bottles, ignoring the shopkeeper as she pokes around, trying to see what he's got on offer.
no subject
He turns, twirling the liquid inside, showing it to her.
no subject
Because she sure had.
no subject
He glares at her taking the bottle away from him. He hopes she drinks it and has half her body become invisible, so then she can be embarrassed.

"Of course I trained. I did it on my own, that's all." And he would never ask for help from complete strangers either. He points his finger at her from his free hand. "And it's not magic, unlike what yours probably is."
no subject
"I don't know. Whatever mine is..." she holds up a hand that's now shrouded in shadow, "it's light and dark. Supposedly I'm some sort of priest, now."
no subject
"I couldn't tell you much about mine, other than it's nothing in comparison to my normal power. I overheard some of those idiots training, they were doing something similar to what I could do. Called it 'The Light'. I don't know what that is, but I hope that isn't what I've got." What could honestly be worse than being filled with holy light. Nothing, nothing is worse!
no subject
Waving her hand, the shadow around her hand changes to purest light. She wills some of the energy over to Vegeta, offering up some of the energy to show him it's not so bad, and he'll most certainly feel stronger. A blessing like before, only more tangible, making him more tireless, more difficult to hurt, and fitter. Power Word: Fortitude is kind of neat, all things considered.
"And while these powers may be weaker, I don't think they're without benefit. I couldn't do that before, you know." She looks him up and down. " And speaking of that, how does it feel, my friend? I haven't tried it on anyone but myself."
no subject
"Holy cosmos, what did you do? That feels superb, but-! Did you just use unknown magic on me?!"
no subject
And the was she figures it, that's fair. She's been the guinea pig already, don't start being a baby now.
"It's like one of my blessings, only...I think it has more tangible benefits. I'm glad you like it."
no subject
"It's...not that great." He goes right back to looking over potions, keeping the invisibility one in his hand. His back is now turned to her, as if he was trying to ignore the entire conversation at hand.
no subject
"Do you think a potion of flame resistance would be useful?"
no subject
"Anything to deny them that pleasure is fine by me. Get a few of them."
/lines up a tagbomb
"Is there anything specific you think you'd need? Or would these and healing ones be enough? Since I assume I'll be trading for them, of course."
OW
"I don't know what this is." He holds up a bottle that looks as if the label has been scratched off. The liquid is a greenish-brown, and looks rather unappetizing. He pops off the cork, smelling it. "It smells like someone mixed fish with dirt. Ugh."
/loads the mechanism again
She's not really a skilled alchemist, but she's not awful at it. Heavenly remedies and the like require a basic knowledge at least.
"But maybe this." She holds up a blood red potion. "This one feels a lot like the healing magic I know."
no subject
"I'd say grab as much healing ones as you can get," as he scans over a few bottles labeled 'mana', "because we don't know how powerful some of those demons really are. I don't want to base everything off of what we've been told."
no subject
"I'm not bothering with too many. I've got curative magic that I didn't have before. But these energy potions will help both of us."
Even if he won't admit it, he uses a mana bar.
"And I think, given a little time I could probably figure out how to make some of these. I'm not really an amateur when it comes to potions."
