What: Carolina The Redsworn have invited everyone to dinner! Let's see how well diplomatic relations between the flights can be improved, eh?

A: COOKING FIRE SHENANIGANS

Feeling peckish? Have a delivery to make? Or just want to try your own hand at serving up some grub? The Redsworn's usual cooking area has been expanded for the evening, with two extra firepits dug out to cater for additional mouths. Over one fire burns the now "traditional" starter meat of bear flank, something any newly sworn (red or otherwise) will have the pleasure of sampling first. There's also several baskets of berries, fruit and vegetables, while a pot obtained in trade from Silverglen bubbles merrily.

B: FIRESIDE MINGLE

The redsworn of the Ruby Sanctum have claimed a corner of their own beneath one of the larger trees. There's a smaller fire here set for warmth and ambience, and have logs set about for seating for those who don't like perching on rocks or roots, or don't find the comfy grass comfy - park yourself and have a chat!

"Cooking is my profession -- right along with mining, jewelcrafting, first aid, and fishing!" Mar said in satisfaction, putting the fruits of the last to use as he dropped a filet of some sort of local fish onto a pan. "Though I'm a paladin first and foremost. The Horde deployments learn to live off the land. And besides, if a race known for their masterful cooking offered to teach you, would you say no?"

"Wow. And here I thought Freelancers were trained in a lot of skill. You have us beat there." Wash's pauses to think about that. "No, I don't think I would. At least, not here. Home, I never had to worry about that."

"Oh, well, I promise you you'd be missing out. As demonstrated!" he said, gesturing to the spread the Redsworn were laying out for their guests. "The proper meal doesn't just satisfy, it stimulates and energizes. A well-fed warrior fights better, it's as simple as that!"

Washington think that over carefully. "Wish someone had told Command that back home. We never got fed nearly this well.... Or maybe they just didn't care that much. At any rate, thanks for the great food."

"My pleasure! I enjoy cooking, so long as I don't actually have to gather the ingredients. Particularly fish." He shot a sour glance in a random direction, although presumably there was a river or lake or ocean or something that way at SOME point.

Washington chuckles at that. "Not fond of fishing? Or did you have a bad experience with it?"

"Oh, I don't even know what you'd call a bad experience," Mar said truthfully. Some people might be annoyed by giant lake monsters, for example, but on Azeroth you didn't even blink at that sort of nonsense. "But it's so BORING! Exquisitely, excruciatingly boring!"
