A: COOKING FIRE SHENANIGANS

Feeling peckish? Have a delivery to make? Or just want to try your own hand at serving up some grub? The Redsworn's usual cooking area has been expanded for the evening, with two extra firepits dug out to cater for additional mouths. Over one fire burns the now "traditional" starter meat of bear flank, something any newly sworn (red or otherwise) will have the pleasure of sampling first. There's also several baskets of berries, fruit and vegetables, while a pot obtained in trade from Silverglen bubbles merrily.

B: FIRESIDE MINGLE

The redsworn of the Ruby Sanctum have claimed a corner of their own beneath one of the larger trees. There's a smaller fire here set for warmth and ambience, and have logs set about for seating for those who don't like perching on rocks or roots, or don't find the comfy grass comfy - park yourself and have a chat!

[ One of the five has to be the social one. It's only to be expected of her instead of the others, so she comes. Krasus is a busy man, tending to the other dragon mages and working to accommodate all of their newcomers whereas she is meant to be grieving.

Some days it's easier to push aside those feelings to take part in something bigger. ]

You are the one who organized this, were you not? It's a thoughtful gesture.

[She wondered if the red flight's leader would approach, but hadn't wanted to presume. She nods sharply in answer.]

It was my suggestion, but several others have done their own parts. If any sort of effort is going to be successful against our mutual enemy, then working out how to continue working together is the next step.

[ She's uncertain how successful this first one will be. But she's...not hopeful, exactly. Cautiously optimistic. Though you'd never guess. ]

[ While it may be difficult to guess for her, Alexstrasza wears her heart on her sleeve and appears hopeful herself. While cordial towards her guests, it was all right to be a little bit softer with one of the Dragonsworn. ]

Have you gathered them together to come forth with a plan--perhaps a council might do the trick? Not that any more positions of power are necessary, but if you could find a devoted individual who cannot help in combat, but in other ways to pass word among each other, it could provide aid to your efforts in the future.

That's an excellent suggestion, ma'am.

[ She hadn't considered a formal council, but now that the suggestion has been made, Carolina's already turning it over in her mind. She'd mostly intended this to be a chance to mingle, but.. ]

Once this gathering is over, I'll raise it with the others, see what the others think. [a small frown] Though would that be stepping on Krasus' and the other dragon mage's toes?

[not that she cares (much) about the other ones, but no point making life difficult for the Redsworn's mage.]

It may be seen as such depending on how you take it, but there's no harm in representing your wants through your own council, is there? In Azeroth almost every race and civilization has their own government, yet they still come together to negotiate peacefully. [ For the most part. ]

I cannot tell you how to handle these things, only provide counsel in rare opportunities such as this.

[ Krasus will learn to deal with it. He seems best suited with handling the younger races compared to her. ]

The talks may be peaceful, but there's no guarantee that the final outcome will be. [The Sin'thalans proved that, for all there was no bloodshed at the end] But better to do something, than have no say in matters at all.

[...not that she intends to be rude, ma'am. She straightens, a little stiff.] I'll make sure to discuss it with him when time allows.

Have you had many opportunities in the past, ma'am? [to offer counsel, that is.]

To those who listen, but my children are my children. [ Fiery and passionate in all they do. The Red Dragonflight is full of beings who know that their mother won't lift a claw to do harm unless harm has been wrought against her children. ] They do as they do and I support them, just as I support the dragon mage Krasus.

[ Which is interesting since she's rarely seen with him. Speaking highly of someone she interacts little with may be suspicious, but then again she lavishes praise on everyone. ]

Should I arrange a meeting? Afraid there are more pressing things for me to tend to prior, but once those matters have settled down...
