A: COOKING FIRE SHENANIGANS

Feeling peckish? Have a delivery to make? Or just want to try your own hand at serving up some grub? The Redsworn's usual cooking area has been expanded for the evening, with two extra firepits dug out to cater for additional mouths. Over one fire burns the now "traditional" starter meat of bear flank, something any newly sworn (red or otherwise) will have the pleasure of sampling first. There's also several baskets of berries, fruit and vegetables, while a pot obtained in trade from Silverglen bubbles merrily.

B: FIRESIDE MINGLE

The redsworn of the Ruby Sanctum have claimed a corner of their own beneath one of the larger trees. There's a smaller fire here set for warmth and ambience, and have logs set about for seating for those who don't like perching on rocks or roots, or don't find the comfy grass comfy - park yourself and have a chat!

Is that beclaws you don't like it, or beclaws you couldn't get it? If it's the first you should stick to bread and vegetables, you don't have to eat it. [Even if she can't possibly understand feeling that way. Hey, more for her!]

But if it's the second you should at least try as much as you can. It's good to try new things! [And she follows that up with an encouraging smile, hoping Namine will relax at least a little. She seems so skittish.]

It would be that I couldn't get it. [That much is true at the very least.] One of the places I've been to... they've had more fish than meat available.

I'll certainly try some. [Even if her stomach isn't handled the smell of bear alone. That smile does make her a little at ease though.] Thank you for your encouragement, Nepeta.

Oh, well, fish is technically a meat too, but that's something a friend of mine knows more about than me.

[Annnnnnd now she's missing Feferi again. She seems to rotate which friend she's missing most, but then with absolutely none of them around that's no surprise.]

No purrblem, Namine! I'm the one who hunted most of this meat so I'm just glad people are appurrciating my effurt.

I think they've always considered it something else where I'm from. But maybe you're right. [Or rather, it was the meat of choice on Destiny Islands. But she wouldn't know first hand anyways.

But gosh, she can't be older than her and she hunted all of this. Naminé can't help but stare at some of the feast before them. She's quite talented, even if hunting isn't really a talent.] Of course, everyone appreciates this. Its really amazing what the Red Flight has put together.

[She's almost jealous, taking trees and greenery over sand and heat any day.[

It was a lot of hard work furrom effuryone, but I'm just glad it turned out so well!

[The party is absolutely a success from Nepeta's point of view. People coming in from every flight, a chance to talk a bit with everyone... what more could they want? A few more like this and they might get some serious inter-flight cooperation going on!

Speaking of which...] But you know, if we could do this with just our flight, imagine what we could do with all of them put together!

[She could really go for some more inter-flight cooperation, not really understanding the Flights' issues with each other at all.

But ah, that settles that. Nepeta is from the Red Flight, making Naminé wonder why. So many people here are from different Flights, its hard to tell who is representing which one. ]

We may be able to settle whatever issue is causing the Aspects to not trust each other. [She sounds pretty sober, like she may not believe that's entirely possible.] It sounds helpful, but we don't know enough to be sure if it will work.

[Nepeta considers that idea for a moment. It would be more than nice, it would probably make them actually able to beat back the demons. But at the same time...]

I think in order to do that we'd have to know more about the Aspects themselves. And especially why they feel the way they do about each other. Lady Alexstrasza is really sweet and kind, but she seems sad a lot. What's your Aspect like?

[He kinda enits an aura of doucheness

But we're half-Disney, so we can't do that. She does have to think about that for a moment.]

I've only had one conversation with him before, but... it almost seemed like he knew more, but wasn't willing to talk about that.

[Despite having a not so great first impression, she understands situations like that.]

[That doesn't sound all too trustworthy to her... then again, usually when a troll's keeping a big secret it's for nefarious reasons.]

Knew more about what, exactly? The demons? The other Aspects?

[She shakes her head slowly. Talking about it makes it feel weird, but she just has this feeling she can't quite describe.]

I'm not sure. I could always be wrong of course. He just... didn't seem quite interested in explaining things when I first arrived.

Oh. Well that's annoying, but... I guess the mages are the ones who are suppawsed to explain efurrything in the furst place, so maybe he just figures it's not his job.

You're probably right. They do have other responsibilities. [She's only seen Lanadormi once or twice, but she's always been a little nervous to approach her.]

What is the rest of your Flight like?

You mean the sworn or the dragons? Beclaws I haven't met all the sworn yet, since there are a lot of us, and the dragons aren't very talkative.
