Prologue: Another New Arrival
Who: Seth and Red Dragonflight
What: Another New Arrival
Where: Ruby Sanctum
When: Backdated to New Arrivals. Sorry folks.
Warnings: N/A Presently
[ The sanctum was like a dream, or perhaps something even stranger, Seth noted to himself as he looked around. There were flowers blooming everywhere, trees with golden apples, and perhaps strangest of all, dragons and large eggs, at least he thought they're dragons. Part of him wished to go investigate further; however he knew that there were far more important things to concern himself with for the moment.
-1: He can recall what the first man or creature or whatever he or she was that told him of why he was brought to this place and effectively sent him here, but more information is important so he can gather a better idea of the situation he is now involved in.
-2: Find out if his King or Queen are also here or not. Secondarily, find out if any of his other companions from the last major incident in Magvel are here in this place, whether this place refers to this exact location, or this world, albeit he may pray them all be safe elsewhere.
-3: Thirdly and more current with the situation: find allies here to fight alongside during this endeavor.
-4: Obtain some form of armour and weaponry.
Ultimately, Seth decided to start with #1 (with a potential side of 3) on his list. With a calm expression on his face, he continues his self-led tour of the Ruby Sanctum; keeping an eye on whoever is in his field of vision, and looking for someone who might know more. He seems approachable though in his stoic and calm nature at least; even though he hasn't said anything as of yet since his arrival. ]

[But at some point, he notices someone watching everything and looks up- noticing Seth. he doesn't recognize him, so he must be new. Which makes him make a slight face- they are recruiting again? Jeez, how many more people are going to be dragged into this.]
[He doesn't approach Seth, because he's too lazy to get up, but it's clear that he's watching the guy- and at the very least, he seems approachable enough]

When Seth reached what he felt was a safe distance to properly react, should an incident occur involving the gentleman in front him, Seth made further mental note of the man's weapon and armour, and that he needed to ask about how to obtain weaponry and armour for himself. However, first in order was introductions, and so calmly, he would speak.]
Hail. I am General Seth of the Knights of Renais of the Kingdom of Renais. How fare you on this day?
no subject
Uh...hail to you too..!
I guess I fare fine. You new or something?
no subject
Indeed. I was brought here very recently by a man who said this and my own world were in danger, but I fear that I know very little about this world, now that I am here.
[ A pause. ]
Ah, before we continue, might I request the title or name in which you go by? I would prefer to call you by a name other than 'you'.
no subject
[Oh, his title? He wonders if Seth is one of those sorts that cares about that stuff. No matter, he's gonna lie anyway]
Heh, afraid I don't have a title. I just go by Kaneis.

[ Seth nodded and glanced at the man's weapon and armour. ]
I see you have a weapon, and the blood tells me that you do not carry it for merely show. Did you procure it here, or did it come with you when you came unto this land?
no subject
But there is an armory in the Sanctum, if you need a weapon.

[ Seth scratched his chin in contemplation. Something struck him in Kaneis' words though. ]
So you're a mercenary, I take it?
no subject
[Sure, he'll stick to that story. Served him well so far]
Yeah, that's right.
no subject
[ Another pause as Seth took in Kaneis' information. ]
Interesting. Perhaps I may have need of your services in the future, since you seem to know your way around this place better than I. What is your price?
[ Important information to know, after all. ]
no subject
[At Seth's question, he perks up a little]
Oh? You're asking my price? That's new, most people seem to think I should help them out for free. Like I don't need to eat or something.
[He scoffs a little and shakes his head before getting to business.] It depends on what you're asking. The more risky or longer the job, the higher the price. Payment doesn't have to be coin, but it's gotta be something worthwhile and I'm not interested in gems.
