Prologue: Another New Arrival
Who: Seth and Red Dragonflight
What: Another New Arrival
Where: Ruby Sanctum
When: Backdated to New Arrivals. Sorry folks.
Warnings: N/A Presently
[ The sanctum was like a dream, or perhaps something even stranger, Seth noted to himself as he looked around. There were flowers blooming everywhere, trees with golden apples, and perhaps strangest of all, dragons and large eggs, at least he thought they're dragons. Part of him wished to go investigate further; however he knew that there were far more important things to concern himself with for the moment.
-1: He can recall what the first man or creature or whatever he or she was that told him of why he was brought to this place and effectively sent him here, but more information is important so he can gather a better idea of the situation he is now involved in.
-2: Find out if his King or Queen are also here or not. Secondarily, find out if any of his other companions from the last major incident in Magvel are here in this place, whether this place refers to this exact location, or this world, albeit he may pray them all be safe elsewhere.
-3: Thirdly and more current with the situation: find allies here to fight alongside during this endeavor.
-4: Obtain some form of armour and weaponry.
Ultimately, Seth decided to start with #1 (with a potential side of 3) on his list. With a calm expression on his face, he continues his self-led tour of the Ruby Sanctum; keeping an eye on whoever is in his field of vision, and looking for someone who might know more. He seems approachable though in his stoic and calm nature at least; even though he hasn't said anything as of yet since his arrival. ]

[But at some point, he notices someone watching everything and looks up- noticing Seth. he doesn't recognize him, so he must be new. Which makes him make a slight face- they are recruiting again? Jeez, how many more people are going to be dragged into this.]
[He doesn't approach Seth, because he's too lazy to get up, but it's clear that he's watching the guy- and at the very least, he seems approachable enough]

When Seth reached what he felt was a safe distance to properly react, should an incident occur involving the gentleman in front him, Seth made further mental note of the man's weapon and armour, and that he needed to ask about how to obtain weaponry and armour for himself. However, first in order was introductions, and so calmly, he would speak.]
Hail. I am General Seth of the Knights of Renais of the Kingdom of Renais. How fare you on this day?
no subject
Uh...hail to you too..!
I guess I fare fine. You new or something?
no subject
Indeed. I was brought here very recently by a man who said this and my own world were in danger, but I fear that I know very little about this world, now that I am here.
[ A pause. ]
Ah, before we continue, might I request the title or name in which you go by? I would prefer to call you by a name other than 'you'.
no subject
[Oh, his title? He wonders if Seth is one of those sorts that cares about that stuff. No matter, he's gonna lie anyway]
Heh, afraid I don't have a title. I just go by Kaneis.
no subject
[ Seth nodded and glanced at the man's weapon and armour. ]
I see you have a weapon, and the blood tells me that you do not carry it for merely show. Did you procure it here, or did it come with you when you came unto this land?
no subject
But there is an armory in the Sanctum, if you need a weapon.
no subject
[ Seth scratched his chin in contemplation. Something struck him in Kaneis' words though. ]
So you're a mercenary, I take it?
no subject
[Sure, he'll stick to that story. Served him well so far]
Yeah, that's right.
no subject
[ Another pause as Seth took in Kaneis' information. ]
Interesting. Perhaps I may have need of your services in the future, since you seem to know your way around this place better than I. What is your price?
[ Important information to know, after all. ]
no subject
[At Seth's question, he perks up a little]
Oh? You're asking my price? That's new, most people seem to think I should help them out for free. Like I don't need to eat or something.
[He scoffs a little and shakes his head before getting to business.] It depends on what you're asking. The more risky or longer the job, the higher the price. Payment doesn't have to be coin, but it's gotta be something worthwhile and I'm not interested in gems.
sorry for the delay on this one
Ah! Another newcomer?
Sorry for the delay in response!
Secondly, his gaze returned to the lady who had just spoken to him; and he paid attention to her attire. Thus, he promptly turned his gaze back to the little lizards so he could try to keep some composure
thanks little guys. He could not recall ever seeing an outfit so... revealing.]Er... yes. I am Seth of the Kingdom of Renais. A pleasure to meet you, lady...?
[While it was customary to look at the person one was introducing themselves to, Seth found that this was an exception for the moment, until the shock left.]
lmao it's fine bro :p
This kingdom is one not known to me, Champion. [ She adds quickly after, giving a thoughtful pause before carrying on. ]
Unlike the others, you seem to have experience in your step. Is this your natural armor?
no subject
Well met, Lady Alexstrasza, and I suppose it would not, given that it is seemingly in a different world than this one.
[ He returns his gaze to her, and focuses on her face. ONLY her face. ]
Indeed. I have seen many battles in my career and experienced many things. I only hope said experience will assist in this new-to-me at least struggle.
And what of you? The fact you seemed to know that I am experienced by my step suggests that you yourself have a high level of experience.
[ He doesn't realize he's speaking with the Dragon Queen, don't mind him. He'll become much more respectful soon! ]
no subject
That I do. For centuries I had stood alongside the generals of the Red Dragonflight and watched them, learned from them. Though they are no longer here, the knowledge they have left is advice well remembered. Lessons that won't be forgotten.
no subject
I see. If you hold their lessons with such high regard, they must have been great Generals.
[ He cannot be sure of that, but logic would dictate such. He looked down toward the dragon babies.]
I see you are well liked by these small creatures.
no subject
If you're looking for something or someone in particular it usually helps to not try and do so alone.
no subject
Agreed. However, I fear that I have not been here long enough to not be able to do so alone presently, but I digress. Hail, stranger. I am Seth of the Kingdom of Renais, how fare you?
no subject
Valamia. For what it's worth, you're in a place where most people are willing to help out. Outside of the Sanctum not everyone is quite as friendly.
no subject
Hail Valamia. Then pardon my rudeness, but I would sooner clear up this curiosity earlier than later so that I may get past this and speak of other issues, be it now or in future meetings. So once again, I apologize, but I must ask given your appearance that you are not human, what species are you?
[ He's being direct, but trying to be polite about it. At least he has logic behind his question. ]
no subject
I am a Draenei. I am not from this world or likely any world that you've heard of. [She flicks her tail as she takes a moment to mull over if she wants to go into any more detail about the Draenei.]
We are a very, very old race and there are a few of us who are well...old, simply put.
no subject
[ Seth added 'Draenei' to a mental list of things he wanted to learn more about during his stay in this strange strange world. That list was growing quickly. ]
You seem to know about this place, Sanctum, I believe you said? Could you please explain to me what exactly this place is?
no subject
[...Dammit. Oh where was Vas when she needed her to go through the trouble of explaining everything? She's too old for this.]
Azeroth. It's a world that contains a variety of strange things, including dragons with various flights that are distinguished mostly easily by color. You're in the Ruby Sanctum and are among redsworn. People are being gathered to form some sort of army against a force of demons known as the Burning Legion. It's a plan with many holes in it against a force that has destroyed countless worlds.
no subject
[ He contemplated the rest of her words. ]
Many plans begin with many holes within it though, but they can be filled as the plan goes on. As dangerous as this Burning Legion is, our odds increase by bringing champions from worlds that are in danger from them.
[ A pause. She seemed at least trustworthy enough to inquire about... ]
With that said, in response to your original comment; I am looking to know if anyone I fought alongside once before are here as well. First and foremost, I am looking for a tall human man or a average height human woman both with blue hair. The woman would if in her armour would be wearing red and gold, and is skilled with a blade; and the man would be wearing armour, similar to my own and also wields a lance. If you've seen anyone like that or heard of anyone like that, I would be in your debt.
no subject
I don't think I've seen anyone like that. [Not that she was good at distinguishing humans apart.] They could be in another flight, if they are on this Azeroth. They may also still be in your world.
