Prologue: Another New Arrival

[ The sanctum was like a dream, or perhaps something even stranger, Seth noted to himself as he looked around. There were flowers blooming everywhere, trees with golden apples, and perhaps strangest of all, dragons and large eggs, at least he thought they're dragons. Part of him wished to go investigate further; however he knew that there were far more important things to concern himself with for the moment.

-1: He can recall what the first man or creature or whatever he or she was that told him of why he was brought to this place and effectively sent him here, but more information is important so he can gather a better idea of the situation he is now involved in.

-2: Find out if his King or Queen are also here or not. Secondarily, find out if any of his other companions from the last major incident in Magvel are here in this place, whether this place refers to this exact location, or this world, albeit he may pray them all be safe elsewhere.

-3: Thirdly and more current with the situation: find allies here to fight alongside during this endeavor.

-4: Obtain some form of armour and weaponry.

Ultimately, Seth decided to start with #1 (with a potential side of 3) on his list. With a calm expression on his face, he continues his self-led tour of the Ruby Sanctum; keeping an eye on whoever is in his field of vision, and looking for someone who might know more. He seems approachable though in his stoic and calm nature at least; even though he hasn't said anything as of yet since his arrival. ]

[ Was he expecting to encounter a woman in clothing that would make even the most stoic of knights blush? Alexstrasza has no reason to cover up any more while she's in this form, even after being called "babe" by the newly arrived Dragonlayer. There's a bit of bounce to her step and a trail of red lizards chasing after her, tripping over their tails and using their wings to regain their balance. ]

[Yet another incredulous sight to mark in memory of the last few hours has appeared before him, and his reactions would be in kind. First, he noted the lady herself, but more so, the trail of red lizards. Seth knew that her majesty would find these creatures cute were she here.

Secondly, his gaze returned to the lady who had just spoken to him; and he paid attention to her attire. Thus, he promptly turned his gaze back to the little lizards so he could try to keep some composure thanks little guys. He could not recall ever seeing an outfit so... revealing.]

Er... yes. I am Seth of the Kingdom of Renais. A pleasure to meet you, lady...?

[While it was customary to look at the person one was introducing themselves to, Seth found that this was an exception for the moment, until the shock left.]

Alexstrasza the Life-Binder. [ It rolls off of her tongue with ease, as if it's something she's had to speak often. ]

This kingdom is one not known to me, Champion. [ She adds quickly after, giving a thoughtful pause before carrying on. ]

Unlike the others, you seem to have experience in your step. Is this your natural armor?

[ He took a moment to practice pronouncing that name a few times before he spoke, and made note of the title she added to her name, not that he knew what it meant, really. ]

Well met, Lady Alexstrasza, and I suppose it would not, given that it is seemingly in a different world than this one.

[ He returns his gaze to her, and focuses on her face. ONLY her face. ]

Indeed. I have seen many battles in my career and experienced many things. I only hope said experience will assist in this new-to-me at least struggle.

And what of you? The fact you seemed to know that I am experienced by my step suggests that you yourself have a high level of experience.

[ He doesn't realize he's speaking with the Dragon Queen, don't mind him. He'll become much more respectful soon! ]

[ Lady--now that's something amusing to remember. Not many call her that, even if it is proper. Queen, plenty of other titles sure, but lady. There's just something innocent with it. ]

That I do. For centuries I had stood alongside the generals of the Red Dragonflight and watched them, learned from them. Though they are no longer here, the knowledge they have left is advice well remembered. Lessons that won't be forgotten.

[ Centuries? Well, that was a little surprising, Seth realized that this was not his world, and all the same, the rules may not be the same here. Also, she was definitely not human, so that would also make a difference. ]

I see. If you hold their lessons with such high regard, they must have been great Generals.

[ He cannot be sure of that, but logic would dictate such. He looked down toward the dragon babies.]

I see you are well liked by these small creatures.
