[Yugo doesn't exactly enter gracefully. One minute, all is quiet. The next, he simply appears with a little 'pop' as space reorganizes itself to allow his existence. After being told some things by the lady with the blue hair and then transported again, he ends up losing his balance and falling face-first against a nearby stalagmite.

Whoops. Gotta work on the landing.

He pulls himself back and rubs at his face fiercely, and then he finally takes it all in-- the aurora, the crystal lake, the endless reflections and light dancing off the cave formations. He's never seen anything like it, and yet something about it makes him think of home.

Oh, wait, that's the dragons. There are definitely dragons. Not many dragons, but that's still more than he's used to seeing, and he can't help but gawk for a few minutes.]

I think so. I mean, at least a lot of us are. Except the dragons.

[ GENIS HAS ONLY BEEN TO TWO... and technically they were the same one just split in half BUT STILL it's enough to have opened his eyes to the possibility of others, at least. so he's not hugely mindblown about all of this.

but yeah, he understands that hesitation. he was uper duper nervous being without his own powers, too.. ]

Um.. it depends, I think! I can't use any of my old spells from before, but.. I've learned some really cool new ones! But some people can still use their old ones, too, so.. I guess it depends on the person.

There are dragons on my world, too. My bro is one.

[Yugo had been to other worlds in his past life, but he doesn't remember any of them. Alas.]

Ugh, I hope I didn't lose my portals. I'll be a gobball's lunch if I did. [He tries again, just for good measure. He tries really hard. REALLY HARD. He concentrates, feels something respond--

-- and then he's propelled backward as he summons a volley of ice instead. That's what he gets for pointing his ice breath at the floor.]

[ LMAO HAHA OH.. YUGO... sorry, genis is laughin'.. but wow watch where you're sending that!! ]

Haha! Oh, yeah, that..

[ okay give him a mo', too bad for you yugo that summoning ice is like.. a piece of cake for him. even before coming here. he wishes he could say he was impressed, but.. ]

Everyone here can do that! Well, I mean, the Bluesworn.

[Yugo is not sure how to feel about Genis laughing. He gets the feeling that it's not really that impressive.]

Oh, so it's because we're with... blue dragons, instead of the other ones.

[Hmm. Still neat. He's never had powers like this before.]

What else can we do?

[ NO OFFENSE YUGO... to be fair he was laughing more at the fact that he was knocked back by it, and surprised by his own spell, than the fact that it was unimpressive.. ]

Yeah! The others ones get like.. fire, and earth, and stuff.. but, um, well, that's the coolest thing, I think. But.. you should also be able to sense the magic here better than the other guys, too! It takes a little practice, but once you get used to it you can really feel it.

[ but it was easy for him, anyway - he could always feel mana at home, after all, and this isn't too terribly different. ]

[Yugo had to train in order to see and feel wakfu. He figures it'll be the same here. As long as he doesn't have to chase Adamai across an impossibly hot desert, he'll probably be okay. He crawls up on top of the nearest rock with the agility of a small monkey, and sits crosslegged.]

If I practice doing that, I can probably get my portals back faster.

[He's optimistic, at least. He glances at the ice sculpture he made by blowing himself backward.]

Hey, Genis. What kind of stuff can you do?

Maybe! You should try asking some of the dragons here, they're really good with that stuff. Not all of us are able to do the same things we could do back home, though.

[ you know, like genis himself. he misses all of his old spells.. but some of the new ones he's learning are super cool. and funny. so it's kind of an even exchange, he thinks, except none of it is nearly as advanced as the spells he'd known back home, which is kind of a bummer, but..

well, he'll get there in time, he figures. ]

But me? Mostly a lot of magic stuff! I can cast some ice and fire spells.. [ allow him to demonstrate, with a nice fat frostbolt at the ice sculpture. ] .. but I've also learned some really fun stuff..

Right. Well, maybe they can help me if I end up having different spells.

[He's hoping he doesn't, even as Genis casually fires a frostbolt. That's still pretty cool, if the way Yugo leans forward is any indication.]

Wow! That's so cool! You don't even need a special weapon to do that?

[Really /fun/ stuff, though... He grins, perhaps a bit devilishly.]

[ frostbolt is totally cool, and you know, actual combat, but as far as genis's 12 year old self is concerned there's way better spells okay

[Yugo isn't expecting Genis to simply disappear. But he doesn't jump quite as high as someone might expect, due to having crazy teleporting final bosses in his lifetime.]

Whoa! That is pretty neat. So time magic exists here, too?

Um, no, but Evangelyne has a bow that lets her shoot special arrows. I don't need any of that... not that I can show you right now.

[The ears of his hat seems to droop.]

aww but yugo don't be sad!! genis smiles brightly in an attempt to counteract it!! ]

Ah.. well not yet, but you'll figure it out soon, I bet!

[Okay it's hard to pout when Genis is grinning like that.]

[His thoughts are interrupted by the loud growling of his stomach. No time to be sad.]

... Oops. I probably have to go outside to find food, huh.

[ lmfao yeah sorry yugo, these dragons aren't particularly hospitable ]

I can give you some if you're hungry right now! But yeah you should probably figure out how to get some on your own, too..

[He'll get over it. For now, he seems pretty happy about that offer.]

okay no he actually has a nice big blue sleepypillow over here, surrounded by a bunch of stuff, neatly arranged. some books, stacked aside, a sweet mageweave bag stuffed with things unseen (hint - nerdy materials, parchment and ink etc), as well as a small iron cooking pot and pan and, spread over a pile of broad leaves, some foodstuffs. some of it is wrapped in leaves or thin cloth, and it's not.. a huge amount of food but, you know, for one scrawny kid it's okay.

[Yugo doesn't seem offended at how small it is. He's got a nice collection of comfy-looking things and books. It looks like a small camp, and considering Yugo's spent the past couple years adventuring, this might as well be home.]

Looks like you travel a lot.

[He plops down on a nearby rock, making sure not to squish anything.]

Heh.. yeah! I've gone around a bunch of places, back home. Got kinda used to it.

[ and he's neat by nature, so it's easy to keep all of his things nicely organized in this little space. okay, he'll be digging through his ingredients now while yugo gets comfortable. ]

Unless you mean here -- in which case, uh, yeah that's also true. There's not too much to do here all day so, I go out a lot..

Really? Me, too! I learned stuff by talking to the people who came by my dad's inn... and watching the people I journey with, too.

[He's okay with going out a lot. He wonders what's out there, but he's momentarily distracted by his nose.]

Are those spices?

Yeah! A little, at least. I didn't have a whole lot to trade with so I only got a little bit of salt, pepper, and cinnamon.. but I'm hoping I'll be able to get more, later.

[ flanks of meat and things can only get you so far!! but now that he's building up his stock of books and other necessities, he'll have more to play around with to get cool foodstuffs. anyway, he's just gonna pop a fire under this pan with magic here nbd. ]

Oh, but your dad owned an inn? That sounds so cool! I bet you met all kinds of neat people, huh?

Everything starts with either salt or pepper. It sounds good to me.

[He watches Genis casually abuse his fire magic, taking a lot of interest in watching him do this stuff. Seriously neat. He's loving his new friend.]

Hehe, yeah! It wasn't easy-- especially when I broke stuff-- but it was always interesting. My dad used to go on journeys too, so he knows a lot of people who come through.

[Now that he's thinking about home, though, his smile seems a little thinner.]

I feel a little bad. I'm usually the one who runs errands for my little brothers, but now I'm stuck here. Papa needs all the extra help he can get.

he's just gonna get started here tossing stuff into the pot here - luckily he has some leftover things from the stew he had for dinner last night SO it's just a matter of throwing 'em all together again ]

Y-yeah.. well, hopefully that won't be much of a problem, if we get out of here in time, you know?

[Genis certainly knows his way around a stew, too. Yugo watches intently even as his brain gets stuck on the phrase 'in time'. Yeah, they only have a little amount of time to do stuff in, if the way the cloaked guy spoke is any indication.]

We'll be able to do it. Adamaï's going to be mad, though... He hates it when I leave without him.

Do you have any family?

[ now that he's got everything he needs within arms reach, genis sits his but down in front of the pot to work. ]

I've got a big sister, but she's not here with me.

[Yugo rests his hands on his ankles, sitting crosslegged.]

Really? What's having a sister like?

Uh, well.. we don't really have a normal relationship, so I dunno if I'm the best one to ask, but.. she's kinda like a Mom and a Sis both in one. But it's good! I mean, she's great!
