Yuan is hard to unsettle, and if there's one thing he knows, it's that panicking or dashing off headlong into an unknown situation is the best way to get himself killed, something he's spent a few thousand years not doing...and moping around refusing to do anything at all is certainly no better. He's not actually feeling as calm as he seems, but he's not about to show that in front of a stranger, either.
