Who: Yugo and anyone else in the blue dragonflight who cares.
What: A new arrival! And a mingle? IF YOU WANT?
Where: The Sapphire Sanctum.
When: April 4th? Let's go with that.

[Yugo doesn't exactly enter gracefully. One minute, all is quiet. The next, he simply appears with a little 'pop' as space reorganizes itself to allow his existence. After being told some things by the lady with the blue hair and then transported again, he ends up losing his balance and falling face-first against a nearby stalagmite.
Whoops. Gotta work on the landing.
He pulls himself back and rubs at his face fiercely, and then he finally takes it all in-- the aurora, the crystal lake, the endless reflections and light dancing off the cave formations. He's never seen anything like it, and yet something about it makes him think of home.
Oh, wait, that's the dragons. There are definitely dragons. Not many dragons, but that's still more than he's used to seeing, and he can't help but gawk for a few minutes.]

After deciding Genis is cool, he laughs and adjusts his hat, sorta scritching beneath it.]
Heheh, I'm fine! I've had worse landings. [He holds out his hand.] I'm Yugo! What's your name?

[He starts to introduce someone who isn't there, and his face falls. He takes the next few seconds to pat himself down, particularly the pocket in the front of his tunic.]

[Even the ears of his hat seem to droop.]

as far as genis is concerned, that's food and nothing else, but this guy's talking about it like it's some sort of.. living thing, or a pet, or.. who knows. so he's taking a moment to look at yugo like he's got three heads or something. ]

[He's worried, if his face is anything to go by, but he's quick to try to chase it off with a question.]

W-well.. if I see him, I'll let you know! [ a bird. not actual tofu. right. ] But, um.. it's called the Sapphire Sanctum. [ lifting his eyes to the ceiling. ] Probably not any place you've seen before, huh..

Not really. Is this what dragon homes are supposed to look like? I didn't really get to see where Grougal lived, and Adamai doesn't know anything more than me, so...

you are speaking all sorts of weird languages right about now. genis tries to follow along, but he looks kind of.. puzzled. ]

Magic? [... but that's--] That doesn't look like the magic I'm familiar with...
[This really is a different world. He's floored.]
Wakfu is the lifeforce that runs through everything. Plants, people, all of it. I guess... it's different here, somehow. [He reaches out to try and conjure a portal, but nothing happens. He frowns, tries again.]

That sounds like mana! The stuff we have back home! But.. yeah the stuff here is a little different, but in the end it still kinda works the same.. sorta. Once you get used to it. ]
[ and.. uh, he doesn't know exactly what you're trying to do there, buddy, but given the handwork and the general expression of confusion, genis has a pretty good idea of what he's asking. ]
But, uh.. yeah, none of my spells worked either, when I got here. Weird, huh? But I guess it makes sense.

[Wow. He'd been to all sorts of planets in his past lives, but he couldn't remember any of them except the one he'd been reborn on. And that was okay. The World of Twelve was his world, and he'd made that clear.
... And now he was without it.]
How do you get used to it? I kind of need my powers to fight.

[ GENIS HAS ONLY BEEN TO TWO... and technically they were the same one just split in half BUT STILL it's enough to have opened his eyes to the possibility of others, at least. so he's not hugely mindblown about all of this.
but yeah, he understands that hesitation. he was uper duper nervous being without his own powers, too.. ]
Um.. it depends, I think! I can't use any of my old spells from before, but.. I've learned some really cool new ones! But some people can still use their old ones, too, so.. I guess it depends on the person.

[Yugo had been to other worlds in his past life, but he doesn't remember any of them. Alas.]
Ugh, I hope I didn't lose my portals. I'll be a gobball's lunch if I did. [He tries again, just for good measure. He tries really hard. REALLY HARD. He concentrates, feels something respond--
-- and then he's propelled backward as he summons a volley of ice instead. That's what he gets for pointing his ice breath at the floor.]

Oh, so it's because we're with... blue dragons, instead of the other ones.
[Hmm. Still neat. He's never had powers like this before.]

Yeah! The others ones get like.. fire, and earth, and stuff.. but, um, well, that's the coolest thing, I think. But.. you should also be able to sense the magic here better than the other guys, too! It takes a little practice, but once you get used to it you can really feel it.
[ but it was easy for him, anyway - he could always feel mana at home, after all, and this isn't too terribly different. ]

[He's optimistic, at least. He glances at the ice sculpture he made by blowing himself backward.]

[ you know, like genis himself. he misses all of his old spells.. but some of the new ones he's learning are super cool. and funny. so it's kind of an even exchange, he thinks, except none of it is nearly as advanced as the spells he'd known back home, which is kind of a bummer, but..
well, he'll get there in time, he figures. ]
But me? Mostly a lot of magic stuff! I can cast some ice and fire spells.. [ allow him to demonstrate, with a nice fat frostbolt at the ice sculpture. ] .. but I've also learned some really fun stuff..
